# Is this software similar to Funnelytics?

Not really. While both platforms involve funnels and analytics, they serve different purposes and work very differently under the hood.

## How Funnelytics Works
Funnelytics uses simple JavaScript tracking, much like Google Analytics. It records page views and then presents your data in a visual format. Its primary focus is analytics visualization.

## How FunnelFlux Differs
FunnelFlux targets performance marketers and media buyers. It provides:
- **Traffic routing and automation** -- directing visitors through funnel paths based on rules and conditions
- **Server-side click and conversion tracking** -- with no reliance on cookies or referrer data
- **Detailed analytics** -- built for campaign optimization and media buying decisions

## Under the Hood
The platforms differ significantly in their backend architecture. FunnelFlux requires a much more substantial infrastructure to handle server-side redirect tracking, real-time routing decisions, and conversion attribution. Funnelytics primarily collects and displays client-side page view data.
