Tracking Setup with Adskeeper

Learn how to set up tracking between FunnelFlux Pro and Adskeeper.

Step 1: Add Adskeeper as a Traffic Source

Go to Traffic Sources > New
Search for "Adskeeper" in the template list
Select the Adskeeper template

The template configures the following tracking fields:

Slot	Field Name	Token
campaign	utm_content	`(empty)`
external	adclid	`(empty)`
c1	widget	`{widget_id}`
c2	teaser	`{teaser_id}`
c3	category	`{category_id}`

Cost type: Cost Per Event/Click (no automatic cost token -- update costs manually as needed)

Step 2: Create Your Campaign URL

After creating the traffic source:

Build a funnel in the Funnel Builder
Click the traffic node and select Adskeeper as the traffic source
Copy the generated tracking link

Use this tracking link as your campaign URL in Adskeeper. The URL includes all tracking parameters. Adskeeper replaces the tokens with real values when someone clicks your ad.

Step 3: Set Up Conversion Tracking

Adskeeper uses a postback URL for conversion tracking. The template pre-configures this in the Conversion Tracking tab:

https://a.adskeeper.co.uk/postback?c={external}&r={payout}&e={txid}

Copy this URL into Adskeeper's postback or conversion tracking settings.

In this URL:

{external} -- FunnelFlux replaces this with the stored click ID from Adskeeper
{payout} -- FunnelFlux replaces this with the conversion revenue amount

When a conversion fires in FunnelFlux, it sends this postback to notify Adskeeper.

Optional: Updating Costs

If cost tokens are unavailable or inaccurate, you can update costs manually in FunnelFlux:

Go to Update Costs in FunnelFlux
Export cost data from Adskeeper
Match by campaign ID and relevant tracking fields
Import the cost data
