Tracking Setup with Kwai
This guide explains how to set up tracking between FunnelFlux Pro and Kwai.
Step 1: Add Kwai as a Traffic Source
- Go to Traffic Sources > New
- Search for "Kwai" in the template list
- Select the Kwai template
The template configures the following tracking fields:
Slot | Field Name | Token |
|---|---|---|
campaign | campaign | |
external | click_id | |
c1 | ad_id | |
Cost type: Cost Per Event/Click (no automatic cost token available — you may need to update costs manually)
Step 2: Create Your Campaign URL
After creating the traffic source:
- Build a funnel in the Funnel Builder
- Click the traffic node and select Kwai as the traffic source
- Copy the generated tracking link
Use this tracking link as the destination/campaign URL in Kwai. The URL includes all tracking field parameters, so Kwai will automatically replace the tokens with real values when a user clicks your ad.
Step 3: Set Up Conversion Tracking
Kwai uses a server-to-server (S2S) integration via FunnelFlux's custom scenario system.
When you select the Kwai template, the Conversion Tracking tab is automatically configured with the Kwai custom scenario. This means conversion data is sent to Kwai through FunnelFlux's built-in integration rather than a simple postback URL.
To complete the setup, you need to configure the S2S integration in FunnelFlux's Integrations settings. See the S2S integration documentation for detailed instructions.
Optional: Updating Costs
If cost tokens are not available or not accurate for your campaign type, you can manually update costs in FunnelFlux:
- Go to Update Costs in FunnelFlux
- Export your cost data from Kwai
- Match the data by campaign ID and any relevant tracking fields
- Import the cost data
