Tracking Setup with TwinRed
This guide explains how to set up tracking between FunnelFlux Pro and TwinRed.
Step 1: Add TwinRed as a Traffic Source
- Go to Traffic Sources > New
- Search for "TwinRed" in the template list
- Select the TwinRed template
The template configures the following tracking fields:
Slot | Field Name | Token |
|---|---|---|
campaign | campaign |
|
external | external |
|
c1 | site_id |
|
c2 | placement |
|
c3 | channel |
|
c4 | subchannel |
|
c5 | media |
|
c6 | size |
|
c7 | subsite |
|
c8 | domain |
|
c9 | keyword |
|
Cost token: {cpv} (Cost Per Event/Click)
Step 2: Create Your Campaign URL
After creating the traffic source:
- Build a funnel in the Funnel Builder
- Click the traffic node and select TwinRed as the traffic source
- Copy the generated tracking link
Use this tracking link as the destination/campaign URL in TwinRed. The URL includes all tracking field parameters, so TwinRed will automatically replace the tokens with real values when a user clicks your ad.
Step 3: Set Up Conversion Tracking
TwinRed uses a postback URL for conversion tracking. The template pre-configures this in the Conversion Tracking tab.
The postback URL is:
https://twinrdsrv.com/conversion.engine?s2sparam={external}&apikey=REPLACE_ME&amount={payout}Replace REPLACE_ME with your TwinRed-specific account or campaign ID.
Copy this URL and paste it into TwinRed's postback or conversion tracking settings.
In this URL:
{external}is a FunnelFlux token replaced with the stored click ID from TwinRed{payout}is replaced with the conversion revenue amount
When a conversion happens in FunnelFlux, it fires this postback to notify TwinRed of the conversion.
Optional: Updating Costs
If cost tokens are not available or not accurate for your campaign type, you can manually update costs in FunnelFlux:
- Go to Update Costs in FunnelFlux
- Export your cost data from TwinRed
- Match the data by campaign ID and any relevant tracking fields
- Import the cost data
